The 54th ANNUAL AFRICAN AMERICAN PARADE
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2023

New York Alumnae Chapter continues to live up to our legacy of being the First Graduate Chapter. Our chapter stepped up and coordinated the NY Metro Coordinating Council's successful participation in the 54th Annual African American Day Parade on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Eighty-two Deltas marched in the parade. NYAC spearheaded the historic achievement to secure our first float. As Sorors strolled down Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd, we wore t-shirts that said, NY Deltas Vote, sending a strong social action message.

Thank you to our First Vice President and Chair of Membership Services, Thais Ridgeway, and the African American Day Parade Subcommittee, and Stroll Captain N'Della Seque who worked tirelessly to ensure we were well represented as ONE Delta.

This was only the beginning. We look forward to next year!
