New York Alumnae Chapter (NYAC) is The First Graduate Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated chartered in New York City in 1921. In our 102nd Anniversary, our membership has grown to over 160 women diverse in age, background, and profession. We share a common bond in sisterhood, scholarship, and public service. Through our collaborative agreement with a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, we provide annual scholarships to college students in our community. Our service area spans Manhattan river-to-river south of 155th Street.
