President's Message
Greetings!

New York Alumnae Chapter (NYAC) is The First Graduate Chapter chartered in New York City in 1921. Our service area spans the borough of Manhattan river-to-river south of 155th Street. With over 160 women diverse in age, background, and profession, we share a common bond in sisterhood, scholarship, public service, and social action.

We honor our visionary Founders, celebrate our sacred sisterhood, and embark on a new century of committed public service through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust and our public service programs.
With your generous support and our successful fundraising efforts, New York Alumnae Chapters has awarded over 60 scholarships. The annual Mary McLeod Bethune Scholarship awarded to 4-year college students and the annual Memorial Scholarship for the nontraditional student entering an accredited 4-year or 2-year certificate program or trade school.

We always want to collaborate and partner with community-based organizations that align with our interests and goals for a greater community impact. Feel free to contact us. We are always interested in exploring innovative strategies and paradigms for social change.
Please stay connected with us by joining our mailing list, following us on our social media for special events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and pertinent resources and information that impacts, empowers, and engages our community.

Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to working with you.
