Welcome to the official website for New York Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We are pleased that you have taken the time to visit our site, and hope that you become better acquainted with our chapter and the great service that we provide to our community.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1913 on the campus of Howard University by twenty-two courageous women who aspired to dedicate themselves to sisterhood, scholarship and service.

New York Alumnae Chapter (NYAC) is The First Graduate Chapter chartered in New York City in 1921. In our 100th Anniversary, our membership includes over 160 women diverse in age, background, and profession. We share a common bond in sisterhood, scholarship, and public service. Through our collaborative agreement with a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, we provide annual scholarships to college students in our community. Our service area spans the borough of Manhattan river-to-river south of 155th Street.
