The New York Alumnae Chapter (NYAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is excited to celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2021!
​
In 1921, four women were determined to make sorority life a permanent fixture in New York City. With a common bond of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, NYAC—The First Graduate Chapter—became the inaugural post-collegiate institution of our beloved sorority.
​
Our membership includes women of all diverse ages, backgrounds, and professions. Through social activism and community service, NYAC has consistently contributed to the vigor of our service area, which spans the island of Manhattan river-to-river south of 155th Street.
​
As we have done throughout our 100 years of engagement, we continue to support our community through collaborations with civic, corporate, and philanthropic organizations.
