About the Event
As the global community comes together to commemorate World AIDS Day, it is crucial to recognize the unique challenges faced by Generation X in relation to HIV/AIDS. Despite advancement in treatment and prevention, stigma and discrimination continues to hinder access to care and support for this generation of adults living with HIV/AIDS.
On Saturday, December 7, 2024, at First AME Bethel Church, 60 W 132nd St., NY, NY 10037, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. , New York Alumnae will bring together members of the community to address these barriers and promote awareness within the forgotten population.
Together, we can support those living with HIV and continue to push for education, prevention, and treatment access.
